Your Partner in Weight Management

Hi there, I’m Dr. Molly, DNP

After 12+ years as a nurse practitioner in traditional healthcare, I grew frustrated with the system's limitations. When patients with life-threatening diagnoses asked about wellness, I had mere minutes to address their concerns. I knew there had to be a better way to provide the nurturing, comprehensive care they deserved.

So I started my own private practice—a place where time constraints don’t dictate quality care. Where I give patients the attention, compassion, and comprehensive support they deserve.

Here, you can speak openly about your story without judgment. I take the time to understand your unique challenges—including the physiological barriers that might be making weight management difficult for you.

My years of clinical observation, supported by research, have shown that many individuals face biological challenges that lifestyle changes alone can't overcome. That's why I integrate science-backed medications with personalized care, providing the comprehensive support needed for sustainable progress on your healthcare journey.

If weight loss or weight management is your goal, I work with you to find the right GLP-1 or other weight management treatment that’ll help you achieve your goals and feel your best—just as I’ve found what works for over 700 other women like you that I’ve seen at my cozy at-home clinic.

  • I had a new patient visit today with Molly Lupo.

“So refreshing to have a provider ask questions and show a genuine interest in hearing the answers. Worth the time spent with her and looking forward to being an active participant in my health and wellness journey and not just a number.” -Danielle H.

Your Journey With Me

My approach combines the science of obesity medicine with deeply personalized care. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with specialized certifications in Precision Nutrition, Obesity Medicine, and Mindful Based Eating Awareness, I can assure you that I bring expertise, knowledge, and experience to your overall health and wellbeing journey.

  1. We Start With Your Story — In our first visit, I listen. Really listen. What's worked? What hasn't? What are your goals beyond the number on the scale?

  2. We Explore Options Together — After reviewing your labs and insurance coverage, we'll discuss medication options that might work for you, from GLP-1s to other evidence-based treatments.

  3. We Create Your Plan — Weight loss and weight management is multifaceted. I'll likely recommend partnering with other specialists like dietitians or therapists to ensure you have comprehensive support.

  4. We Stay Connected — Monthly check-ins ensure you're feeling your best, addressing any side effects, and making adjustments as needed.

  • Molly is the BEST provider I've ever had.

“She listens and doesn't just treat the symptoms. She will help find an answer that is not just a band aid solution. She is caring, smart, and always a message away. I can count on her anytime I need. I love that she does both Telehealth and in-person so that I can make appointments that are convenient for me. I'd recommend her to anyone, especially women who want to be seen and heard by their providers!” -Amanda M.

Common Questions

  • Yes, I work with most Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, UMR, and Tricare plans. As always, confirm with your insurance that Lupo Preventative Medicine is in-network for your specific plan. If you are out-of-network, I offer cash pay rates.

  • No. I only prescribe FDA-approved medications where purity, safety, and efficacy have been verified through rigorous testing. Compounded medications lack this regulatory oversight and may contain unknown ingredients or incorrect dosages.

  • You'll want to check your prescription coverage directly with your insurance carrier to see if they cover medications like Saxenda, Wegovy, Zepbound, Qsymia, or Contrave. During our first appointment, I'll help you navigate this process and explore options based on your coverage.

  • Weight management is a chronic condition requiring ongoing care. Many of my clients will work with me forever. We’ll meet on a monthly basis until we both think you’re ready to spread visits out to every 2-3 months. My goal is to provide long-term support to help you maintain results and overall wellbeing. Monthly visits ensure you're feeling good, managing hunger appropriately, maintaining energy, and addressing any other factors affecting your health.
