026. How she lost weight and gained food freedom
Hey Mama,
Emmy came to me feeling sluggish, exhausted, and quick to order take out (almost nightly). She also had a daily habit of a venti sugar filled drink to go.
Plus, she had health issues on both sides of her family, and she felt herself quickly slipping into the same territory.
Emmy came to me bingeing in her cupboards late at night, and I worked with her to find her correct macro targets, and pretty soon she was going to bed full and satisfied each night.
She was finding other practices like journaling and food prep to shift her into a mindset that left her productive and energized.

“The one thing I learned about prioritizing my health is that I have a set of little eyes watching me. And now she’s not asking for a rice crispie treat after school, she’s asking for an apple, a banana, or a pear. Or, she wants oatmeal for breakfast vs. a bowl of cereal. So, for the moms out there, if you have picky eaters, they are watching you and what you are putting on your plate and it’s helped expand her palette and she’s choosing healthy things now, too.”
